'My aim is to work for the UNHCR'
My internship with DraftCraft International has been quite liberating. It gave me the space to develop my own thoughts and opinions on several issues that I had been unaware of and taught me the art of observing things without any personal biases. The course on fundamentals of law was mainly discussion based through which a lot my misconceptions and blockages about our legal system were cleared. It also defies all the stereotypes about how an internship should be like. My aim is to work for UNHCR ( United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees). I have had the opportunity to work with refugee women from places like Sudan and Somali in Egypt.
