Professional Course: Gender and the Law

To qualify for this Professional Course, participant must either complete the Fundamental Course in the same specialisation; must be a practicing professional in the same field or must be a full-time, long-term intern with DraftCraft International.

S/he may avail one of the following as an area of specialisation during their three-month professional course: examining gender identity (masculine, feminine, LGBTQI); representation and social interactions, convergence of gender with other identity variables - ethnicity, religion, nationality; the laws of a nation that determine the legal, not social, status of men, women, transgenders and LGBTQI; laws and policies regulating gender identity and sexuality; issues of gender identity and discrimination; perception in India and around the world.

Duration: 60 hours (over three months on weekends)
