The Right To Privacy garnered nationwide attention in 2017 when a nine-judge bench of the Supreme Court delivered a unanimous verdict in Justice K.S. Puttaswamy vs Union of India stating that the Right to Privacy is a fundamental right under the Indian Constitution. Today, user data generated in cyber space is growing exponentially with a dozen-odd social media apps being launched everyday. The challenges arising are not just myriad but far ahead of the existing solutions. The present-day law is unable in keeping pace with the risks. Several issues such as IPR violations, identity thefts, privacy breaches, financial swindling are becoming the order of the day.
Right to privacy and protection of personal data are intrinsically linked. This course will examine the existing laws that ensure privacy, the lacunae in the legal infrastructure, due diligence to be followed by service providers and users and the way ahead. Case studies from across the world will be analysed and discussed for a wider perspective and comparative analysis.

Eligibility
- Indian Nationals: HSC or Class XII from a recognised board or university
- Foreign Nationals: Equivalent of HSC or Class XII in the respective country
Mentoring
Participants are constantly mentored and provided academic support during the course duration.
Assessment
- Participants are assessed at the end of the course by way of test(s)

Internship Opportunities
Following successful completion of the course, participants are provided an opportunity to intern and gain experience with DraftCraft International and work with our personnel on live projects across India and beyond borders. The internship will be free and not charged.
